Nigel Williams


Having served his apprenticeship with Harris Balers in Bridgend Nigel formed ESEL in 1984. Passing on his technical expertise to his son Daniel commencing in 1999, ESEL started to gain new found traction within the recycling industry on the dawn of the new millennium. With the in-depth knowledge held by Nigel and the driving force of Daniels' ambition the company needed to secure a much larger premises by 2005.

2010 saw ESEL in such high demand by the recycling industry leaders that the company made the decision to build its very own purpose built premises in Bridgend South Wales to service both domestic and foreign markets.

Achieving Lloyds Class 2 and subsequently Class 1 qualifications within Fabrication Welding Dan displayed early signs of dedication and commitment within ESEL. He quickly built a reputation by going the extra mile for the business and clients alike. Dans’ commitment to long hours and his exceptional workmanship for internal and site tasks saw him duly promoted to uptake a Supervisory position before being awarded the appointment of Workshop Manager. Today Dan demonstrates his talents daily as ESEL General Manager, effectively managing all functions at our 16,000sq ft facilities in South Wales as well as co-ordinating and managing all site activities across the spectrum both domestic and foreign. Dan is key in ensuring all work conducted under the ESEL brand is delivered within budget, in a minimal timeframe and to our exacting standards every time. Being fully qualified in both Solid Worx & Inventor suites Dan is also part of our in-house design function.

Jaimie Heanue

Having gained valuable senior managerial experience within a major Homewares retailer Jaimie joined the family business in 2005. As a shareholding Director within ESEL - Jaimie now holds the large responsibility previously held by her mother, Kerry Williams, for the HR and finance functions within the business- effectively and successfully managing both of these internal departments. Having a natural propensity for budget control Jaimie is key in ensuring that time after time ESEL can find the lean balance between expenditure and revenue, giving us the power to deliver the right service at the right price time after time.

After achieving his Degree in Mechanical Engineering and gaining valuable experience within the global giant Sony, Daniel joined the family business in 1999. Understanding the importance of obtaining intricate and hands-on knowledge of every directorate within the business, Daniel gained invaluable experience working within the machine shop and stores before travelling the UK and International markets for ESELs’ site engineering function. Daniel started to progress through a leadership program designed by his father Nigel and mother Kerry for those within the company that wished to develop their career via structured succession planning. Today Daniel stands proudly as CEO of an ever developing ESEL as the driving force behind their success.

Health & Safety
Operations Manager
Nick Edwards

Nick started with ESEL during 2006 as a qualified Fabricator Welder holding various qualifications within this discipline such as NVQ, PEO, EMFE - BS4872 as well as being coded to ASMI 9. Nick gained subsequent experience with site work around the UK thereafter. Within just a few years Nick received his first promotion to Workshop Manager. Having shown enthusiasm for the company’s Health & Safety/ Compliance he was further promoted to encompass these directives as well as other responsibilities with the appointment of Operations Manager. As well as producing the numerous Risk Assessments and Method Statements required for each job awarded Nick conducts site visits and service inspections producing detailed reports and client quotations. Nick also liaises with a plethora of suppliers within our supply chain to ensure that we are constantly securing and maintaining the very best purchasing agreements.

Shane Price

Coming from a background in the Oil & Gas sector with a manufacturing bias Shane is our Global Business Manager and evidence that ESEL are committed to investing in future proofing the business. Having gained his BA Hons within Industrial Design in the late 90’s Shane comes with a wealth of experience developing and diversifying businesses to maximise on both work shop return per square footage as well as external and incremental revenue streams. Like our MD and GM before him Shane initially gained valuable experience across the UK on the front line with ESELs team of expert engineers. Shane is now continually developing the ESEL strategy to progress the business. This will be achieved by entering and nurturing our presence within alternative and current markets as well as establishing and maintaining our marketing efforts.
